The opportunity
HiFiBerry is a growing audio start-up. Our mission is to produce high-quality audio components at a fair price that enable do-it-yourself consumers and OEMs to build highly flexible high-fidelity audio solutions.
For our HiFiBerry products, we are looking for a electronics developer who wants to be part of an exciting new venture. Work will be from home and hours are flexible (minimum 4+ hours per week). This will be a part-time job in the beginning, with the possibility of extending it to a full-time position in the future.
Tasks
- Develop new hardware for our growing product line of audio distribution hardware based on the requirements of our customers
- EMV compliance pre-testing
- Create test plans and test support hardware for our manufacturing partners
- Quality control of our manufacturing partners
- Support of our DIY community
Required expertise/skills
- BA in electronics engineering (MS preferred)
- EMV compliance testing
- Switch mode power supplies
- PCB layout
- Audio electronics experience is a plus
