Transmit audio over the network

HiFiBerry hardware can be combined with lots of software packages that allow to transmit and receive music over networks. Think of an inexpensive network audio interface for correspondents all over the world or enabling musicians from different countries to jam together. Or maybe you just want to run you own web radio station.

HiFiBerry DAC/ADC sound cards (Standard, Pro) allow you to add high-quality audio inputs and outputs to an inexpensive Raspberry Pi enabling you to use network audio transmissions at low cost.

Software that can be used for these use cases include – but are not limited to – Jack, PulseAudio, Logitec media server, Snapcast, Elk Audio OS or Icecast.
