The opportunity
HiFiBerry is growing! Our mission is to produce high-quality audio components at a fair price that enable do-it-yourself consumers and OEMs to build highly flexible high-fidelity audio solutions.
We are looking for a software developer who wants to help us to bring more features to our software – specifically HiFiBerryOS. You will not only have the chance to develop software, but also work on next-generation hardware projects if you have an affinity for hardware.
Tasks
- Develop applications on multiple platforms to use HiFiBerry sound cards for music playback and other applications
- Collaborate with other team members to improve the existing code base
- Adapt existing software for OEMs
- Support customers with specific software problems
- Write how-to guides for our hardware and software
Required expertise/skills
- Experience designing and implementing modern user interfaces
- Excellent HTML/JavaScript skills
- Experience with modern JS frameworks, e.g. Vue.JS
- Raspberry Pi/Linux
