Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Electronics Designer with a Master’s degree to join our engineering team. As a key contributor to an EU joint research project, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of a next-generation platform for musicians. You will work closely with senior engineers, cross-functional teams, and academic partners from leading universities across Europe. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting, while maintaining strong ties with the academic community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test complex mixed analog/digital circuits.
- Conduct simulations, analyses, and validations to ensure optimal performance and reliability of designs.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and testing procedures.
- Collaborate and coordinate effectively with academic and industrial partners to drive project success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and proficiency in software tools (e.g., KiCad, Eagle, Altium, or similar).
- Basic Linux administration skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Previous internship or project experience in electronics design is highly desirable.
- As the project focuses on tools for musicians, the ability to play a musical instrument is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- You must have Swiss or EU citizenship, or already hold a work permit for Switzerland.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
