New guide: Dual-mono setup using a stereo HiFiBerry sound card
Sometimes, users ask us if they can use only a single channel of a DAC+ or Amp2. Yes, that’s possible. Maybe, you not only want to use a single channel, but you even want to have 2 completely independent applications one playing on the left channel and the other one playing on the right channel. One example would be multi-room systems with rooms that doesn’t really need stereo sound (e.g. bathrooms). Yes, this is also possible.
