New guide: using alsaloop
As the DAC+ ADC Pro do not support “pass-through” from the input to the audio in hardware, you need to use software to implement this. We have integrated this functionality in HiFiBerryOS. However, if you want to use it on other distributions, that doesn’t help. In these cases, a simple tool to do this is “alsaloop” which is already installation e.g. on Raspberry Pi OS (even the light version that is preferred to the full version in most cases).
Our guide shows a simple example how to use this tool.
